Inspired by architecture and made possible by advanced materials, the Traverse V and Traverse X conference table express calligraphic gestures. Two broad strokes create the table’s legs while a brush-tip thin horizontal line just 2.5 cm (1″) thick forms its top. Its striking, cantilevered 6.5m (20′) top finishes in a fine, tapered edge and sleekly conceals wiring as it emulates an uninterrupted landscape.
Traverse is offered in fourteen finishes—from traditional wood veneers to reconstituted wood.
As a testament to Okamura engineering, this piece possesses the simplicity and presence reminiscent of Japanese joinery.
